For this frame we use the best tubings available and machine everything we can to save the maximum weight to make this frame a true work of art and the finest, best urban/park frame coming out of our shop. • True Temper BMX Supertherm Double Butted tubes. - UTS (1) : 150-210ksi. (1) UTS : THE ULTIMATE TENSILE STRENGTH This is the maximum resistance to fracture of the material. Simply put, its the point where the tube (frame) will break. Most 4130 tubesets used by Taiwanese frame manufacturers have a UTS of 75ksi. (2) YS : THE YIELD STRENGTH This is the maximum resistance to deformation or the material that will remain even after stress is removed. Symply put once again, its the point were your frame will be bent. Most 4130 tubesets used by Taiwanese frame manufacturers have a YS of 70ksi.
